Title: How can I stop getting notices about viruses and spam?

Question: I am getting a moderation request every time spam or a virus is sent to the list.  
How can I stop getting these notices

Answer:

If you have a moderated or unmoderated list limited to subscribers only, you can go to 
Privacy Options, Sender Filters

    https://mail.prairienet.org/mailman/admin/listname/privacy/

where "listname" is the name of your list.


At the bottom of the page, you'll see:

Action to take for postings from non-members for which no explicit action is defined.	

Select Discard.

Should messages from non-members, which are automatically discarded, be forwarded to the list moderator? 

Select No.  

This effectively sends any posts from non-members, the vast majority of which are spam and viruses, 
to that Big Bitbucket in the Sky.
